Git Notes
=================================
1) Move to the the folder that your project is located in and set up Git using:

.. code-block:: console
    
    $ git init

2) Add the files you want to add. Use "." to add all files

.. code-block:: console
    
    $ git add .

3) Save the changes for your files with a message

.. code-block:: console
    
    $ git commit -m "[Insert Message Here]"

4) Add the URL where the server is located in  

.. code-block:: console
    
    $ git remote add origin [URL]

5) Set the branch to main or whatever it's called 

.. code-block:: console
    
    $ git branch -M main

6) Push the changes to the server

.. code-block:: console
    
    $ git push -u origin main
